We wish to welcome you and hope that you have a lovely holiday in our Villa. We hope you will look after it during your stay as if it were your own home.

During your stay you are expected to:

CHECK IN / OUT
Please keep us intended arrival and departure times.
Upon leaving the property, all electrical items including air-conditioning/heating should be switched off and please place all dirty towels and bed linen in the bath tub.
Only use the furniture for its intended purpose and replace in its original position at the end of your stay.

OCCUPANCY
Do not exceed the number of people registered to stay.

DAMAGE AND INSURANCE
You are personally responsible for any damages. Contact us as soon as possible to declare any damages please. You are also responsible for your personal belongings.
We recommend you purchase separate travel insurance in your home country.
In case of personal injury you should always contact your own insurance company. The house owner or the agency cannot be held responsible for damage or injury, but we are available if you need any form of help.

SWIMMING POOL
Use of the swimming pool is your own responsibility. Please keep the children under constant supervision anytime they are in or near the swimming pool. Please take a shower before you use the swimming pool. Please do not go into the property wet or use indoor furniture whilst wet. There is a pool cleaning schedule, usually once a week.

PETS
Sorry, no pets.

CHILDREN
Children should be under CONSTANT supervision of adults especially during risky activities such as use of the swimming pool. Note the upper terrace poses a falling hazard if not used appropriately, please supervise children accordingly.

CAR
Vehicles must be held on the ample villa parking areas, please do not cause any public obstructions outside the property boundary.

AIR CONDITIONING AND HEATING
Please only use when you are occupying the property and with the doors and windows closed. Also remember to turn off all appliances.

SMOKING
Please only smoke outside of the premises, see below.

BARBECUE AND FIREPLACE
Keep the log burner and BBQ under constant control, everything around is very dry during the summer and easily flammable. ALWAYS use an ashtray (with water in it) when smoking (externally only please). There are very strict punishments in Spain for creating fires, some of which threaten imprisonment.

TV, INTERNET, & SOUND SYSTEM EQUIPMENT
Make sure you understand how to use any electrical equipment that you are not familiar with.

OUTDOOR
Please be aware of the wind, and close the sun umbrellas and awning if it gets too strong, please close them if leaving the property. Do not use indoor furniture outside.

OUTDOOR GYM
This is to be used strictly at your own risk. Children should be kept away from the apparatus should you choose to use it. Do not use without first ensuring the apparatus is in good working order and you are physically fit to use it.

PARTY AND EVENTS
Volume is rarely an issue, so outdoor parties can be enjoyed, in the unlikely event of a complaint please comply fully.

SECURITY
Please ensure you close the main gates, secure all doors and windows and set the house alarm before leaving the premises. There is a panic button alarm system which operates in Spanish and English to alert emergency services directly, your host will talk you though its operation.

HOSPITAL
Just in case, the nearest hospital A&E is in Requena about 20 minutes drive along the A-3 toward MADRID (away from the direction of the airport). It’s badly sign posted so satnav is recommended. Its address is Paraje, Calle Casablanca, S/N, 46340 Requena, Valencia, Spain

ROADS
The police in Spain can be strict on crossing any solid white line in the center of the road. There is one directly outside of our entrance road, so please be careful.

CLEANING
Please keep the facilities clean, especially the kitchen and toilets. There are extra linen and towels available in the linen cupboard, please use appropriately. Put all garbage in the large wheelie bins located on the main road away from the house. On your leaving, please clean the BBQ, oven and all used kitchenware, since this extended house cleaning is not included in the regular cleaning fee contained in the standard rental fee.
